These glasses...holy cow!

I stepped out of the accommo truck tonight as I parked it to end the day of worked up looked up at the night sky. I could not help but say "HOLY $#!&!" Literally. I have not seen the night sky like that in my entire life. I mean, I've seen it plenty of times the past summers and Common Fire seasons I've worked up here. But I didn't realize my vision was THAT bad to be missing out on SOOOOOO much!!!!!!!!

I am going to make some tea, grab a blanket and spend a good amount of time on my roof tonight. Yes I will.

Bouldering/Climbing

Jeff scoping out the face of the infamous Calvin Crest boulder.

We're both going climbing tomorrow in Fresno again. I'm pumped. Laurel will be there to join us again, along with Travis Feaver.

The weather has been ridiculously beautiful and amazing up here! It's the middle of Nov. and we're seeing clear skies with temps around mid 70's. HOW CRAZY IS THAT??! Well, I'm looking forward to the rest of this semester. I think I might visit the Valley(Yosemite) on Monday and Tuesday, seeing how those are both my days off next week. Probably camp and climb my butt off till my fingers become raw.

Phil and Heidi also got married last weekend! WOO! Congrats to you both! I love you guys and look forward to continuing to be a part of your lives! :)

I love dancing. And food. Weddings are wonderful. I almost cried at this one...but held back because I had the responsiblity of doing sound stuff and didn't want to mess anything up.

:)

OH!!#!@ I got glasses too!!! I feel like I see everything in HD TV mode now! It's so awesome!

Lovely.

Taken this past Sunday after turnover.

Taken tonight

It was really dark earlier today, as I stated in the post before. It's cleared up now and the stars are out...but it's freezing. I talked to Tony to see if curtains could help us save money. Towels just might do that job. :) I take back my summer comment...somewhat. I guess the gloomy weather lately has taken somewhat of a toll on me. I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning, I feel like it's going to be really clear and sunny and beautiful!!

I'm also going to the eye doctor(not sure what the specific term for that is) tomorrow morning before work. It's exciting to see how bad my eyesight really is. And I'm stoked to use all this special equipment to test my eyesight! WOO!!

I...am...sleeeeeppppyyyy.

Wow.

It's dark.

That's all.

It's 6 and it's cloudy.

Dark.

And cold and wet.

:( I want the summer season to come back.

Weekend.

Halloween was pretty freaking awesome. I'll stop there :)

The next day Jeff, Andrea and I went down to Fresno to climb at the old climbing gym I used to work at, Yosemite Fitness. Travis joined us later that day, along with Laural, who I haven't seen in almost a year. The day started out well, Travis arrived before we did and was already warming up on some problems. Laural slept in and didn't come till 12. I jumped on a some SWEEET V3's and 4's to warm up on. I spent most of the day working on a crimpy V8 that did a number on me. I tore some skin off of some fingers that shed some blood, kept my shoes on too long and couldn't lock in any heel hooks 'cause the inside heel was too sweaty...Travis, Jeff and Andrea mostly toproped and climbed some routes using the autobelay. It was cool to see them getting on stuff that was challenging for their level of climbing.

Laural and I spent alot of time together helping each other out on some hard routes. It was so great to climb with her again after so long. Up until Sat. I had always talked to Jeff about how great of a climber Laural is. I don't think he really believed me until we watched her climb...out of the corner of my eye, I could see Jeff's jaw drop to the ground...he was floored. After about a good 6 hours of hard climbing, well at least 6 hours for me haha...we decided to end the day with a trip to Teazers(equivelent of Starbucks, but with tea).

Greg stopped by, which was great, except when you put him and Jeff in a room together, madness occurs! Good madness though, they're really goofy and funny. I probably drank way too much tea that night, but the sugar helped me share lots of great stories and keep the energy alive. Overall, great weekend.

Today is my day off and I'm contemplating whether I should stay here and relax or go down to Fresno to visit my uncle.

Hmm...
