No more competing...

I decided sometime last week that I wouldn't be competing anymore. It's just costing me so much to go compete every other weekend. The cost for gas, entry fee's and food, would total almost half an entire paycheck. Oh well, at least I can say that at one point in the competition, I was ranked 1st in the nation :).

On a different note, I really really enjoy learning new songs on the guitar.

Like...I really like it.

Jeff and I have also gone to another boulder I forgot existed. We're working on this super hard slab project with death crimps and horrible feet. I'm looking forward to getting the first ascent though. Not saying that Jeff can't, it's just he's having a hard time sticking the crimps, which are actually my forte...and vital to getting past the crux moves.

OHH! And myself, Jeff, Joel and hopefully Sarah and Graham from Summit Adventures will be joining us next weekend to do some climbing on Fresno Dome! I'm thinking of calling some more people from Emerald Cove to come along so it could be one big party! Ooooo this is so exciting! There's also a sweeeet boulder project I'm working on at the Willow Creek area. Can't really do too much or get too high on it since it's pretty mossy. I'll definitely have to do some cleaning and brushing to get it prep for it's first ascent.

Yay for climbing!
