Geoff White and I went out to get some sushi last night.
It...was... SPLENDID! Not only do I LOVE sushi, but it was also a great time to talk and catch up with Geoff. Dinner was filled with laughter, great stories, reminiscing about past camp experiences, and myself having to ask for the menu again because the first round didn't quite fill me up...
For the past week or so, the weather has been so beautiful and most of the snow has already begun melting away. I'm afraid that we might be getting some more snow again soon though. It's been overcast all day and a slight fog has settled in, which I hope doesn't stay for long. I really enjoy working in a t-shirt and jeans because I feel like my body is limited to certain movements when it's cold and I have to dress like this:

Lost and Found can be helpful when the weather gets bad up here! I'll never get cold again!!
I want the sun to come back. I want it to melt away all the snow so I can visit my favorite boulder. It's yearning for me to climb it, I can hear it calling my name, asking for me to chalk up my hands and smear my shoes against it's edges. The other day Chris asked me whether I prefer sport climbing over bouldering. I had to give it alot of thought, but came up with the conclusion that I like bouldering more because it costs less. With sport climbing or trad climbing, you'd have to invest in quickdraws, cams, ropes, caribiners, a harness...ect. While with bouldering, all you really need are the shoes, chalkbag, and a crashpad. But, I guess that's why you make friends with people who have equipment for sport climbing, so you can borrow them!!!
